It was a bad day at the office for Camperdown in the first round of this years Round Robin. The match took place at Arbroath in what can only be described as horrendous conditions. The wind was "blawin a hooley and the rein battered doon". Hats off to the lads who completed their round. Arbroath and Cairdie fielded strong teams in a bid to wrestle back the trophy won by Camperdown last year. Their highest handicaps were 13 and 15 respectively. Camperdown had no fewer than seven new caps in there team and some admitted to being slightly nervous before hand, but all had enjoyed the day and relish the chance for revenge at Campie in August. The match result was Arbroath 17 1/2, Caird Park 22 and Camperdown 7 1/2. Big thanks to Nod, Stan for the days golf and organisation. Billy and his catering staff for which again was a tremendous meal
