Camperdown hosted this years match, in what, can only be described as one of the best days of the year so far.
For Camperdown not only the sun shone, but everyone of the players who took part.
Camperdown winning the match 6-2.
It was no mean feat considering, Alyth fielded a team consisting of, Former Scottish Amateur Champion and joint Old Course, St Andrews record holder Kevin McAlpine, Dundee United legend Hamish McAlpine, Camperdown, three time Club Champion Lindsay Brough and a further three club champion qualifiers, 2009.
They also had Camperdown`s Captain, from 2008, Steve McKelvie in the team.
Camperdown were mainly represented by mid - high handicappers and also had three Juniors making the numbers up.
There was a great team spirit with everyone fighting their corner and the two matches Camperdown lost, went down to the 18th and 17th respectively.
Representing Camperdown - Capt. J Bruce, W Fotheringham, J Duffy, G Floyd, M Jones, C Morrison, B Wilke, J Wilke (J), I Cunningham, T Burke, G McAlister, S Kelly, K Anderson, B Giacchetto(J), C Worsley and D Fox(J).
