Kieran and Jamie were this years finalists.
Kieran was out to emulate Björn Borgs five in a row, all be it a different ball game. This was also his last year as a junior, having to step up to the Seniors next year.
Jamie a relatively new member to the club and competing in his first final, was giving away 8 shots, as like the Club Championship this match was from scratch.
Kieran`s experience told and quickly established a comfortable 6 shot lead, Jamie battled well and got the match back to 3 down for the afternoons play.
After refreshments, the lads teed of in better weather than the mornings downpours, again Kieran pulled away and the match was finished at the 12th.
I`m sure the experience well stand Jamie well for next years championship.
Well done to both lads.
